I'm Tashieka Ma'at, a Financial Coach and Certified Financial Education Instructor.  Learning to create a spending plan (aka budget) focused on my values has allowed me to pay off over $115k of debt and simultaneously build a six figure portfolio in less than 5 years.  Before becoming a full-time Financial Coach, in my previous life I worked as a Certified Project Management Professional in the Clinical Research industry.  Being a project manager and managing project budgets helped me on my budgeting journey.

I created JamaaWealth Financial to provide financial education to women and families to help them manage money so they can invest and achieve financial freedom.  JamaaWealth means Family Wealth.  The mission is to empower you to have your money work hard for you so you can rest and have freedom and abundance.  I provide support for money management with budgeting so you can save more money, pay off debt, and invest.

I am a wife and mother of four kids.  DMV raised me but I currently reside in North Carolina.  I enjoy fitness, painting (in my free time), and traveling with my family.  I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
